Hey gang, i just ordered some GT blems from big jim 3555. I will set these up with my dweyer which is 51@27 what length should i cut or leave them at? i would like to have a arrow apprx 550-650 grains. I know there will be alot of playing around with them but does anyone have any good recommendations?

I'd leave them full length to start, and shorten 1/2" at a time until you get good bareshaft flight.

Hate to say it but if you want an arrow that heavy you maybe should have gotten the 5575s.

i have a dozen of the 5575, i just ordered these to play around with to see if i can get them to fly good. other wise i can use them as a convienet excuse to get a new bow  

I think Bud is right.

You will be close at 550, but will likely need as short a shaft as possible. Depends on the bow.
