Has anyone had experience with this bow?

buckracks7

Yes, decent shooters. The bowyer used to have a friend sell them for him on e**y once in a while.
If it's in your way, move it.

Well I bought one from **** and I really like it. Shoots good and looks great.

Hackbow

I bought one a few years ago from buckracks7 and it instantly became my only bow. I thought I'd never go to anything else. But I did some work on my form and got a little stronger, so I ended up finding a heavier bow that fit my new needs a bit better. I gave the Tarbell to a friend of mine who was struggling with his bow. He fell for the Tarbell in the same way I did.

As Jim said, they are decent shooters. They are not incredibly beautiful, they are not speed demons, they are not highly sought after and probably a few other "nots". What they are (at least what mine was) is shootable, well behaved and consistent. I always likened mine to my trusty Remington 870. A solid side-kick that will win no contests unless that contest is producing meat over time.

My belief is that Tarbell found the right recipe in mixing the ingredients from a 50's style bow with a more modern custom. The results are, for me, a nearly perfect combination.

If I can ever find one around 70# @ my draw, no one better be in the way or they'll get trampled! ;o)

What are the specs on yours? If it's close to 70# @ 30" would you like to make a few bucks? LOL!

YORNOC

Really nice inlays. A great custom craftsman. I agree with Hackbow, nice compromise between 50's and modern.

Can you post pictures of the bow?
