I just ordered a Davis wall tent 12X14 Three windows ,Screened front door ,Colorado door ,And the valley wood stove package .

Show me some pictures of your wall tent's
you use for trad hunting

I chose the external frame ,It's what they call the traditional setup, 80% of the time I'm going to be truck camping. And most likely if I go in any distance I'll be using one of those glorified deer carts.  I was worried I got too big a size,  But from the research it shows it's just right.  I went ahead and got the summit wood stove,It's the cylinder style with the water tank and warming tray and the grate.

We just decided this is the year to do it.  We are getting rid of a 2010 fully loaded camper.I think some of the guys call 'em
" Lawn ornaments ".  Nothing like setting in a tent and hearing the sounds of the forest.

Wingnut, that is a very luxurious home away from home. That would do me just fine for a home at home! How long does it take to pitch one of these wall tents (in reality, not in theory).

  Very comfortable way to tent camp.The tent belongs to my hunting buddy, We are in the AZ mountains at 7000 feet. The Elk are still up there  :bigsmyl:
