Bob sent me a few pics and asked me to post them up for him.

He has already started construction of these beautifule bows. The risers are going to be made from Pau Ferro. Here is a pic of the block of wood he started with:

Bocote and black glass on the limbs with action boo cores laying on the workbench and ready to be glued up!

The Bocote in the limbs is going to be awesome looking in the finished bow. Here is the first limb out of the press:

I know I, for one, can't wait to see the finished products>

Thanks for stepping up Bob!

Thanks for posting the pics Bisch. Not to good at that stuff.  Will try to get some pics to ya as we go along.  Zach and I are honored to be allowed to participate in this great thing that Trad Gang does each year.  Thanks go out to Terry Green who has been wonderful to deal with.

Hope you guys have lots of fun and good hunts with these 2 bows.  Looking forward to hearing some good stories and seeing some good hunt results.  God bless.   Bob

Bob,
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Looking forward to watching these two gals come to life.  Hope to be one of the fortunate ones to hunt with Miss Faith.  Regardless, though, will watch this and the hunt thread constantly.

Things are cranking right along on Hope and Faith. Bob sent me a few more pics to add.

The first is a set of limbs glued up and ready to shape!

Next is a pic of all the components for the risers.

Next is the risers glued up.

And finally, the risers start to take shape!

It won't be long now till we have pieces together with a whole bow in a pic!

Great news and thanks for adding the build pics Bisch!!  Do you know what model Bob and Zach will be building for the auction? I have to say I've bought and sold a few bows in my short time as a traditional archer but my Sarrels Superstition will have a permanent home on the rack. Can't wait to see how they turn out and I'm looking forward to following along on their adventures!!

Unless Bob figures out how to post pics there will not be any more for a couple weeks. I am headed to NM on a mule deer hunt tomorrow morning at 4am.

Y'all are moving on these quickly!  Beautiful looking BRSR's that in 15 months should have quite a few stories to their credit.
Thanks Bob and Zack for fulfilling the Hope and Faith project with your fine bows.

Just got a chance to look at the pics of those beautiful bows. Very nice. Thank you Bob for stepping up to the plate for the kids!

That last pic...the background....now I know why Bob's bows are so smoooth!     :bigsmyl:
