One time when shooting out of a pop-p blind the front legs of my stool had sunk enough in the ground the broadhead caught the bottom of the opening fabric and flipped the arrow so the nock hit the turkey instead of the broadhead. Food for thought. I ended up finding out later with that blind a bow and a a stool I needed to practice to keep my body higher since the stool would sink into the ground a little from me sitting on it.

I cant shoot my set up through mesh. Not sure but probably a combo of slow arrow (selfbow), and home made arrows. The transition from head to shaft is never going to be supper smooth with primitive arrows. I tried and by pulling the mesh very tight my flight was OK but any error or angle to the shot as stated above and flight was terrible. I thought I had it figured out at one point and tried shot on nice goat. You should have seen the look on his and my face when the arrow hit him flying sideways. It was like wacking him with a stick. Anyway no more mesh for me.

Never had an issue with it myself. I'm certain you've checked, but just throwing it out there....
Make sure the screen is tight. If it is even loose a little,it will screw things up real good for you.  rat'

hey sitting in the blind today, I shot 3 arrows (back to the carbons I had practiced with out of the blind).  all three hit perfectly.  still though, im guessing yesterday I did something wrong as opposed to it being the arrows, but only god knows what...

no antelope shots today. they came in early and spooked. they were looking at something up the hill from me.  and I had to leave early, family in town visiting.
is it September yet??

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"
