I am asking for a glove for Christmas. Which American Leathers glove do I want? Big shot? Full shot? Crossover?
I prefer wild organic meat!

chrisAKnative

Ilove my full shot.very well made and feels very secure and such a smooth release.

Piratkey

Crossover is my top choise, big shot second

msmith2

Thank for sharing guys haven't shot the crossover. I am leaning in that direction for some reason.

I don't like Velcro on my strings and it just don't feel right so I choose
Big Shot Crossover
best glove I have ever worn
Hopefully you will see me as a better person today than I was yesterday..

I like the Elk hide Big Shot glove. I bought one and started shooting it early this year. Liked it so much that I bought another one and starting to break it in.

I had to buy a medium glove. Make sure the fingers are tight when new because they do break in nicely and stretch a bit in the fingers.

Thanks,
Ron

I like the buffalo big shot.  I don't think it stretches like the elk does.  Send your hand trace to American Leathers and they will make the glove to fit you. There website tells how they want you to trace your hand.

I have the Big Shot and didn't think there was anything better. Until I got the Crossover. The Big Shot is now my back up glove.

Crossover is the best money i've ever spent on a hunting accessory. i like that the finger tips are leather and the nylon is on the inside.

Big shot for me.  Great gloves, personal preference as to which one to get.

The Trad Gang is awesome! Thank you for the feed back. I decided I am going to have to order both the Crossover and the Big Shot.

Good decision , you won't be sorry , just a note the gloves come sized a little small for me .Follow Happy's advice and check the site .

Good call getting both.
I have both and much prefer the BigShot.  The crossover is certainly quality, but I get a better hook on the string with the bigshot.

Yep.  Me, too.  I've been shooting Big Shots in elk and bison for 6-8 years or so.  The heavy leather covered with nylon webbing is plenty for finger protection and still yields a good feel of the string after they're broken in.  Never felt the need for the nylon insert in the finger stalls in the Crossover.  Perhaps If I were shooting real heavy bows or had very tender fingers.

American leathers gloves are great no matter which model you choose. For me the full shot is my go to glove .
