Is Tim Meigs still making bows? He is kind of hard to get hold of?

Tim is getting up there. He is also having some hand problems. I know others who say he is at his shop but not always in it. I have two of his bows and they are really stable. I will call to see what he is up to.

I haven't seen an advertisement for his bows in quite some time. He is in fact getting up there in years. I have shot one of his earlier recurves and loved it.

Spoke with Mr. Meigs about 3 years ago for hours. He was 85 thousand then. One of the nicest most knowledgeable bowyers I've ever met. Hope he lives to 190 thousand! Hope he knows I playing about his age?

I read a Traditional Bowhunter article on him about 10 years ago. Can anyone post some pics of his bows?

I'm glad you clarified that! I was thinking, "wow, that's a great looking bow, but it sure doesn't look like any Tim Meigs bow I've ever seen."

Tim was up to the Moses Lakes Shoot, within the last couple years. Not sure, but his pic was in TB with the ladies winner. Terrific bowyer, met him years ago at the North American Longbow Safari.

Al Parr is selling my old Meigs now in the classifieds. Both outstanding values. Haven't seen many Meigs bows for sale.
