Glad to hear that Joe....I was actually just gonna send you a PM the other day about restoring an older Bear to it's former glory, but I guess I'm too late for that. I'll be watching this thread to see who to contact. Glad you'll be getting a break to go and chase some Elk.

Glad to hear that you found both a replacement and that you also found peace with the decision to re-retire. Hard to give up something you love, but adventures are found on roads yet untraveled.

Thanks for the good job that you did on my Bighorn. I still have it, and would now find it very hard to give up since your work on it.

Since you are so close, hopefully you will find time to come up to my place and shoot a bit.
If man were to know everything in advance, there would be no such thing as adventure!

Kudos to you both, Joe!

If you believe in them,  nobody should question, not with your dedication.

Few business men would leave a comfortable hunt to drive miles to the highest point to check email and phone messages of his customers!

Whomever is coming along behind will have some big shoes to fill! (not to say you have big feet!)  :)
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Well Joe from one retired guy to another I wish you the best of luck on your re-retirement.

I chose to stay retired even after some pretty nice opportunities came my way. Now days I rather be bored than stressed and choose my path at my pace.

Best to ya, Ken

Good luck to you Joe in your retirement. I know you won't be bored what with Comptons and all the other fun stuff you are involved in. Sure hope you can still find time to come to Denton, wouldn't be the same without you  :bigsmyl:

I will be at Denton again - no doubt about that.  But this year I get to play!  Been going for years, but some years I never even strung my bow.  That is not going to happen this year!  :readit:    :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:

Joe,

Congratulations on your 2nd retirement! I'll just have to send that 1969 Super K we talked about to the new owner of the hospital. Enjoy your additional free time, and remember we're only here once, make the best of it

I hope the transition is smooth.  Hope the New owner is as good a guy to deal with and pays attention to detail like you do.

Hope to shoot a round with you at Denton and maybe you guys will be able to accompany me at the family farm in WI for a hunt.

Relax,

You'll live longer!

Great news Joe.  Sounds like a couple people have reason to be satisfied and excited, a great combination!  Pretty amazing to me, selling a business over a forum, but this 'ain't' your average forum.
