We have 2 new ILF recurve limbs coming in January. I hope to have them both at Kzoo. The one I'm still working on, with the new materials I'm using I have the stability to make what I couldn't up until now.Check my site under    web page  to see picture of our new design,I can't quit shooting it, they are not even finished yet.. I may make one design to see if I gain anything, ore that has a little more curl, I'm not even sure if it will work, gotta try... 2nd limbs are being made for us, and a the best I could find, very high performance and of highest quality, fits right in with all we do.

KaZoo will be another exciting event. Glad to hear you will have your new limbs there Bob. Looking forward to checking them out. Now, let's start hoping for excellent traveling weather!

I will be at Kzoo in January 2012. I hope to have 2 new ILF limbs to offer. One Maybe 2 we build and one we are having built for us.
Price will remain the same on most, one may be higher depending on if the extra carbon makes enough of a difference in performance to use it.

owlbait

Bob, wht stringer are you using on those limbs? Any special concerns? Thanks.
Advice from The Buck:"Only little girls shoot spikers!"

Bob Morrison

I'm using Cup on tip, bottom is enclosed. I'm holding on with both hands until I'm past where brace would be, then slide string to tip.
No concerns yet, with both hands. There will be NO push pull stringing.

I saw these limbs friday.Typical Morrison, never resting on a great design.

Bob, They look static.

Bob Morrison

Sorry, they are not a static tip.
Just to clear up a few things, These limbs are the same ILF we are using now and were copies of our Cheyenne and Shawnee just different wedge placements. This new limb the changes I made were in the last 2" of the tip I put more radius in the tip, the CAD program does the smoothing for me, I also had to put wedge on other side. This change will probably be used on the Cheyenne also. I don't think it will work on the Arapaho. The reason for this explanation, someone accused me of copying someone design, you got to love the internet. Why would I want to copy anyone limb design????? Fastest and a real good shooter is not even made in the USA.

"[dntthnk]"  You gotta be kidding

Sixby

Hmm, they sure look like a static tip. Fooled me. Bob they are great looking limbs. I sure wouldn't lose any sleep over the other. They all have curves.
God bless you and Merry Christmas, Steve

Bob Morrison

Bill, I wish I was....Scratch another of my Christmas list.

Do realize that the 0.7 deflex increase in the riser would display a larger brace. The brace HT still appears a little higher than I would have expected from the standard Morrison design. Could just be an illusion since I not accustomed to viewing 54" Morrisons.

The bow appears to be quite alluring.

I'm probably wrong , but it sure looks very similar to a border Recurve???  :dunno:

Bob Morrison

Sergio, I don't think I'll ever get the tips that long. Sid Sr. saw the new limb, said he was happy to see me using the larger curve. Its easier for me to take my existing Cad drawings make small changes make the program and run it on the CNC,New form, New a set of limbs and see if it does what I'm hoping, if it does try something a little more different and see what happens again. Copying a limb would take way too much time. and at best you end up with the shape, Materials and all the little things that are done by bowyer will make them what they are.

hockey7

Man, I could play hockey with a wicked curve like that. Looking forward to trying it out at K'zoo.
Maybe on a Zipper ILF extreme riser????????

SERGIO VENNERI

Hi Bob, thank you for the response and clarification, hope to be able to try the limbs in Kalamazoo.

                Respectfully
               Sergio
