Ever just HAVE to shoot?

I try to shoot 25 arrows every day to keep my archery muscles in shape. Some days I shoot more. Yes it is an addiction!

That's when a clear lane (or almost so) in the basement is a good thing.  Three times a day I "just have to" fling a few.

Many times.  Very often.  And especially right now as I sit here with an ice pack covering my freshy surgerized lower back.  No shooting/lifting/fishing/climbing/running/hiking/driving for me for a while.

I guess I have it pretty good...  I can shoot atwork.. just call it archery training for the students and then when I get home I have the horse barn to shoot in.

I like to shoot every day...

Hahah. Good i'm not the only one! I shoot most days and i do shoot either in the basement or living room quite often, but sometimes i feel the need to really fling some arrows and watch the flight!

Just shoveled out the neighbors 16 target 3D range and shot this afternoon, real  windy but fun all same to get shoot outdoors!

I like the 15 yard shot, but if your wide left, is that a boom box on the shelf? 20 yards takes it out of play but sure plays heck on the staircase.....

Fellas that have been married a long time will understand this... I woke up in the middle of the night some time ago and walked out of the bedroom. Just then my wife asked, "Where are you going?" I told her I was going outside to shoot my bow in the dark. To my surprise she said, "OK, I understand."

So happy me is out there having a blast.    But when I tried to get back into the house I found the doors locked from the inside with a note that read...

"Archery is cool, archery is nice...
Next time you do this, better think twice!"
