Wow, nice work. I've not seen a single deer on the only NC private land I have to hunt. Congrats!

The size of the deer makes little difference in the enjoyment of the hunt -- at least that is the case in my experience. We all long for a buck with a huge rack, but that is not the most satisfying part of being out in the woods doing what comes naturally to the predators we are. Nice job Jeff. The look on your face says it all. Enjoy the rest of your season after an incredible start!

Great job Jeff!  Did you use that tab?

Fantastic! Great picture too.

Are we seeing the entry hole in the picture? Looks like you made a really great shot! Congratulations she's a fine doe.

The shot is as it appears....."kinda".  She was qtring away....and I hit her a bit forward of my intended POI.  Exit wound was in her brisket.  Regardless, she only went 30yds.

Dakota??  Tab?  I used one...but it's one I got from Mr. Bateman.

ABout the photo....lol...I have one of those little 6" tripods....and I took it myself.  FIRST and ONLY photo!

Congrats Jeff.....but from your explanation of the shot my eyes must be deceiving me....it appears there's two holes on the same side?

Nice start to the season!

I double proud of you Jeff. Nice shooting, but better than that, you know how to get in the right spot to get a shot. The greatest archers in the world aint gonna kill no deer if they don't know how to hunt them. Way to go. DB

Anything you see there, Guru....was done on the drag out or the load into the ATV.

Really?

Thanks, DB.  I worked hard on my setups this year, because I knew they'd have to be a little better than my compound setups.  So far...so good.  I had a buddy kill one opening day, here, also.

zCongrats on your finish at the IBO Worlds, Don.  You should be proud.  Hell I am FOR you!  :D

Good on ya !
