I've got a Kmag bow and it doesn't seem to have any handshock that I can detect. - I shot little goldtip carbons with it before, and I shoot big heavy Ash arrows now - even with the dinky carbons, I still couldn't feel any handshock. The bow sounded alot different though.

Never shot a Supermag 48 but I don't notice any difference in hand shock between my KMag and my Grizzly. No shock from either.

I bought a supermag(45#) in the early 70's. Still have it. At my draw (28.25") it is quite smooth, I have not noticed any handshock. Don't use it anymore as the grip is too different from my other bows, and I am shooting 55-60lb bows now. But, other than that I thought it a nice, shootable bow.

I had a K-Mag and it was a very nice bow, but not easy to shoot well. Very much a special purpose type bow, IMO...

i love the 48 mag. no shock and i've never felt any stack at my 28-29" draw. they are sweet bows that are great for sneaking around the woods.

Handshock? NO.I have a '61 48# and a '67 53# K-mag. IMO the best shooting short recurves ever made. No problems unless you have an unusually long draw length. Never cared for the Supermag - neat looking but too high-wrist for me.

Like MnFn I dont like the deep grip of my SuperMag to much - and it stacks quite a bit when it reachs it's 80# - right at 28". No hand shock I can notice though. Nasty little devil!
