Primos Blind

I need a new blind for Antelope hunting as my Ameristep is falling apart after 3 years use (it scares antelope as well, I've determined).  Was thinking about going all our for a double bull, but saw Cabelas has a new Primos blind at almost half the cost.  Anyone have any experience with it (it's the Primos Ground Max Vision).

I got the primos predator den.  I think it is a quality blind.  Sets up fast, nice material, the only complaint I have is that the middle windows are too high to shoot out of (for me at least).  The blind you are talking about should take care of that problem...Mike

Check this out. I have one and love it. Goes up quietly in a minute and comes down just as easy. Shoot thru mesh all the way around. Plenty of room. I think I paid $154 shipped.

I just recently purchased one of the Primos Ground Max Vision. Seems to be well made and at only 17# was really easy to carry. It has a built in bow holder and a pocket for the stakes. The carrying case has adjustable backpack straps. All in all I am pleased with it so far. We will see how well it holds up this season as I will not be leaving it up all of the time.

I love cabelas for many reasons but first and for most, I test everything that I'm going to buy with my curve at their archery range.  Shoot your bow in that blind before buying it.  I have a db matrix recurve model and love it.  However, if you can find a less expensive model (I think db is now owned or made by primo anyways) try out at the range to see if its worth it.  They also have a great return policy.

For those of you who can afford a DB my hat is off to,  we now have three Eastman blinds, the XL, that give you 91 inches center height, and 77 inches to the hubs.  This is the largest blind commercially available, and at a fraction of the cost.  I have purchased two of the three of these blinds for less than two hundred dollars brand new.  They are of solid construction, hub type, and one had been left in the woods for a full year, only the netting suffered, and some fading.  I shot a doe out of that one this last weekend.  Nothing that DB has comes close to the size.  I hunt it with my fiancee' with both shooting longbows.  Plenty of room,  check it out before you spend your hard earned money on something more expensive, and not a whole lot better.  Just a thought....
