Thanks guy's. Its been awhile since I've been able to get away to do anything like this. It sure was fun to get out and shoot at something.
Thanks for letting me share the pic's! I've always had to hunt carp from my canoe or the bank, my friends boat sure made it much easier. I may have to get me a boat some day as it was really fun. I shot about 5 carp in an hour or so, but only landed 3 of them.

Guru.

I started off with my only fiberglass arrow. My spool got bound up and the arrow came loose from the string,,, it sank like a rock. So I used what I had,,, aluminum. Hence, why several got away. If you don't mortaly wound them, they loose the regular arrow and their gone! Aluminum floats to the top when they get off.

Do you like your reel (plastic bottle contraption, thinking about buying me one)?

Those were some nice ones you had in your labor day thread!

I luv that ams reel....they're awesome!

Biggest fish on the labor day thread was 16.2#, and was my biggest weighed fish of the summer.
