Bob has the charts on his website showing brace heights for various length bows.  Are these recommended brace heights from the deepest part of the riser or the back (as in back back not back/belly back)of the shelf??  They seem pretty low if they are from the deepest part of the handle.

Brace is measured from the deepest part of the grip. Yup, they are lower than the Bear and Herter's recurves of the sixties. I like the longer power stroke, though.

KILLY TOLD YOU RIGHT. I ACTUALLY BRACE MY SHAWNEE A LITTLE HIGH AT 7 3/8 FROM DEEPEST PART OF THE GRIP. REMEMBER, THESE ARE RECOMMENDED BRACES. EXPERIMENT UNTIL YOU GET IT SHOOTING THE WAY YOU WANT IT.
