Static release

Well I have a static release they call it , instead of a follow thru style. Maybe there is a little follow through , does anyone else have this style of rerelease ? It is consistent for me .i heard people say , oh you have to do it this way or else. Don't know been shooting traditional archery maybe 50 years , don't snap shoot and shoot Mediterranean  . Got a solid anchor point .
