Has anyone used alcohol based leather dye for feathers?
I have a bag full of turkey feathers that I want to start grinding for fletching, and I thought about using leather dye for the colors.

I used orange koolaid, they were the most beautiful til I shot a buck one evening. I can't see the arrow against deer hide, so didn't know I hit him til I found blood.

No more orange here...

Sorry to not answer the question!

I've heard using Rit dye in alcohol works. If you use Kool aid be sure it is sugar free.
