Fletching jig adjustment

I have an old Martin Archery J8 jig that I would like to switch over to 4 fletch. I removed the screw that holds the knob in place and changed out the plates, but it doesn't seem to click into position like the 3 fletch set up.
Does anyone have one of these? I must have set it up wrong.
