Wanting to pay more attention to how dry my wood is in my shop before building with it, ive had two risers with small issues and would sooner not have any.......
Any insights on moisture meters, pinned or pinless ? Is there a decent reliable one that wont break the bank ? And any tricks on bringing down the M/C example can we use our bow ovens to reduce moisture ect ? Cheers everyone have a great day!

The pin ones will give you a reading no deeper than the pins they make one that lays on the wood that's pretty accurate.  The people at Turntex that make stabilizing juice sez for wood to be dry enough 200 degrees for two weeks.
