Mulberry

What's everyone's thoughts on mulberry for a riser?  It would be a takedown recurve approximately 50#.  Thanks

I have used mulberry as a TD riser. It worked pretty good with accents. Thinking I backed the front of the riser with a strip of glass, have to be careful shaping it burns easy.
High on Archery.
