Case 300 Apache Fixed Blade Knife Info

I was going through some old hunting stuff I've had forever and came across a Case 300 Apache knife.  It appears to have a skinner blade.  I didn't have a sheath for it.  I've had it since I was a child but have no clue where or how I got it.  It has a composite handle.  Can anyone provide any history about his knife?  Thanks.
