Mad max, it is adjustable. I put in the side to side adjusting screws in the detent dovetail.
All work was done from same side of riser on my milling machine.

I made exactly one ILF riser with a tablesaw, router , and various other tools, but no mill!! Last one for me!!

I got about 3 hours in the machining and setup. Half that is figuring out how and setup!

We'll see how well I can execute them.
Handle overlays, quiver bolt inserts...

I want to do everything I can think of on this first riser and use 1 riser as the learning platform.

I found some fancy mosaic knife scale pins with deer, boar and all kinds of other designs I can incorporate..

I used a heavy rubber line and a ton of clamps to get the overlays on. It worked!
Used EA40. Got some more shaping to do, but it shoots!

I am thinking about it. I know I will be making a standard 3 piece longbow. I have those ILF measurement drawings stashed away.

Got to work out the wedge details for ILF. Probably use G10 for the wedge to get the strength. Could prove to be time consuming, but would love to make some custom wood overlay ILF limbs. Not many people doing them at all.

I believe Greg Coffee might make some.

I want to make some normal limbs first to get the experience of laying up and making a set.

I am getting a Byrnes Thickness Sander after the new Years. He is not taking orders until Jan 1st.

I need a way to make the lams the same consistently.

I got the dark lambs in the riser a few thousand off and you do not notice it until you make a long diagonal cut across them, like on the limb pads.

It looks like the limbs don't sit flush on the pads? I know I missed something there?
