Glycerin on snake skins?

I've always tacked my skins flesh side to a piece of sheet rock to dry it. The sheet rock sucks all the moisture out pretty fast. Then as mentioned soak skin just enough to make it pliable and glue it with titebond or hide glue. If you don't have real hide glue, KNOX SURE-GEL works as well.

It sat in the glycerin for a few months but I'm not sure exactly how long because I don't know when he put it in the solution. Thanks for the response I will give that a try it has been tacked on a board to dry for a few weeks now.
