This will be a build along. Dont be getting in no hurry tho.

It is a TD curve.
So far I have the form pieces cut out and am working on wedge shaping jigs. They are curved and instead of freehand every time the jigs will make it a lot easier. And you only pulling hair once.
Here is the limb shape.

So you won’t have to bend your wedge at glue up?

Not yet Roy.
The part of the wedge that will be on the riser will be flat then the curve will take the shape of the front of limb as itapers to fade.

I got my wood stiffener chamber lids redone today a one half of the wedge jig ready also. Making the jig fit and sand until you get a good fit then the next ones should be easy.

Interesting, but when grinding out curved wedges like that won’t you have cross grain in the wedge, unless the wood has grown in a curve?

Bue I think it is best to have the edge grain going from top to bottom-flat grain on the sides.. This piece is quarter sawen hard maple. Being between lams and glass will be fine I think.
