It’s here. Got the edges broke over and the overlays blended most of the way. Radiused the arrow shelf to sight window and got the shelf close to how I want it. Gonna work the grip some tomorrow. Tips sit about 1.5” forward of the back of the bow. The bow feels very balanced. Not sure what the stack is but if I recall it’s right about 45#@29” right now. Kenny will have to say if there is super lam or power lam because I can’t tell.

Got to play with it some more today. Got the grip to about 80%. I can tell I need to narrow the area where the web of my hand rides and where my index finger wraps. Gonna handle it for a few days before I go back at it. So excited to get this thing shooting.

I forgot to put the tip overlays in with Cody's bow, they are in the mail bro. Sorry about that!!

As a rule , the grip area is 1" wide and 1 .75 " deep at the throat.  That is where I start and then make the grip feel right to me. That is a plus of building your own, you can make it fit your hand!!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

No worries Kenny. Thanks for the tip on the grip. I can’t get over the overall mass of this bow. It feels so light in the hand and like it will be very nimble.

Plastidip black. Guy at Lowe’s said it was the best bow finish out there. Flexible, tough and easy to redo if needed. LOL!!?!? 🤪

Debating using varathane or maybe a hand rubbed oil.

I like the knot , but Im a certified knot head 😃 These are not very good pics but Truoil & a sealer looks great on osage easy to use and darkens over time for a good rustic look !
