Got the pads cut, rounded center of back and glued on a 1/8” phenolic end to end on riser back, keeping everything square to side.

Ready to start this operation...

Cutting the pad angles to 15*

I had allready rounded the point over ( bottom of 5 gallon bucket size radius :D ) before I thought to take this pic...

A piece of 1/8" phenolic to wrap over the back, sanded both sides....

About the right glue squeezeout! Must have actually done a good job applying!!

Note I used the cutoffs so I would have a straight clamping surface, and wrapped in plastic so I don't have to cut them off again. LOL

More on it today, got a bit ahead of myself maybe here....

Needed a router table cause I want to hide the hardware and don't have a CNC, so improvised...

A fence to cut where I wanted, took longer than I wanted to get it set, but worked well...

And the results for today , along with some other stuff.....

I hope this all works!! LOL

Yeah , even the TD longbows are simple compared to this. It would have been easier if I didn't want to hide the hardware somewhat. Also if I had an inch router bit. LOL

I see a mistake already. I should have stopped the routed channel at the end of the brass piece. Now I need to add a pc of something to let the limb stop work.... Dammit!

I’ll have to look in morning but the copper colored sleeve prob should set on the phenolic at the level of top of brass. I can fix it but may need a longer bolt now.

So I wasn’t ahead of myself in the first pic, but should have only routed for the brass hardware.....
