Got some more live oak hauled out of the woods. Can't believe how much easier the bark comes off this time of year. I basically pulled it off in strips by hand.

I love pulling summer bark off especially on hickory I never tried live oak , I finally got around to opening the box of lams from Kenny for my 68 in. pig hunting bow, I love the old school Bear green glass this one will be walnut , bamboo lams & glass footed mozabique & osage riser !

Ben that's actually the dark green like the old Bear bows had on them it's hard to see in the pic , Mike with the constriction season in full bloom I only have a couple hours here and there but hope to have it done by fall not going to Texas/ok area pig hunting tell next year so have time yet , but this is the first year in the last 3 that I have all my hunting bows done early so will have time to work on that one !

I cut up some tapered crescents for riser accents today... What is the proper name for this type of accent in riser?? Is there one?? I think I would like to call it a crescent accent...

Yeah that is the only thing I don't like about this accent... I prefer the thin part up top but I like to go with the natural tiller of the bow after it is glued up... Oh well you can't have everything...

Well we have a delivery driver on vacation this week so I had the Privilege of delivering this week. While working today I had my phone in a side pocket and apparently butt dialed a customer of mine twice, my wife once, my son several times and last but not least I face timed KennyM of all people! Haha!
