Tonight the wife and I fished at the pond and I whooped her good:) Tonight was a warm up party for our 20th anniversary tomorrow. Going out for dinner tomorrow, then heading to the pond with a bottle of Asti Wine:)

after my day job.. I opened up the shop doors and turned the fans on..it was at least 93 degrees today and the shop was a little warm. After getting the shop cooled down I started reshaping the grips on 2 of my early recurves, I made the grips a little wide/thick back then. A few minutes of spindle sander work, a few minutes of mouse sanding alittle hand sanding.. we had a lot of rain the last 2 weeks and humidity is crazy high..I had to turn the dehumidifier on high in the spray room..got both of them hanging up now drying..

Took the wife out for lunch, then took her out for dinner, then we headed to the pond to relax and celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary even more. Naturally it rained, been raining here in SW Pa for two weeks now.

I have a fantastic loving wife, could not ask for anything more in life than a great wife who shares the outdoors with me:)

Our rides, pond is 300 yards below the house, up hill both ways:)

Our table, check out the rain pounding down on the pond, and thunder and lightning in the far distance, but not close to us, and she hung right in there with me:) Had the lightning been closer, we would have got out of there for sure!

Small crappie on a Mepps yellow spinner, they love it. Been killing the bass and crappies with it.
