Thanks Scott, it's not always that clean. When I can't stand it anymore, I sweep it up:)

Today I glued up another r/d hickory backed hickory to practice my r/d tillering. It's cooking now, and I'll work on it more this week.

Cleaned up a bbo and glued up a bbo. I cooked my glue up at 100 for two hours and it was still a bit soft so ima let it sit overnight.

And what's Apple poe?

Thinned a piece of hickory for backing, started reducing limbs on a birch board and glued on a cherry handle section. Will do some more shaping and glue in some reflex with the hickory backing. Then tiller it till it shoots straight

I met a new neighbor. His name is Bob and he saw me a week or so ago getting out of my truck with a bow and wandered over to talk. Turns out he shot some trad when he was younger. I showed him some of my new found obsession and he loved it. I offer him a hackberry stave and he came over today to work on it.

Here's Bob and his first selfbow  :)

I couldn't work on my trade bow because it's rehydrating so between helping Bob and some honey dues I put tips on my Osage, roughed out a ERC and took the wife out to dinner...  It was a good day!!

I forgot to mention Bob is a rock hound and is going to teach me how to make a stone point. Cool!!
