Is that what you were thinking when pondering turning her buckskin dress into leggings

Today I had the rare privledge to hold and admire an Osage bow that was made roughly in the 1920's And has some incredible history. I cant tell any more then that as the new owner is getting together the documentation before sharing the story. Lets just say it has connections to the last of the Hopa tribe. The Osage was almost black and very primitive.

That's awesome keenan. I have an old stave worked by earl Hoyt in the 30's that a friend gave me. It is a deep deep purple, almost black. Osage is wesome.

Well I made me some burger, 10 lbs in fact. I learned that you can hook a drill up to a hand grinder and it works well and makes quick work out of it. I was trimming and trimming then grinding and grinding and my grinder was still getting clogged. I found a bolt that matched threads up with the ones that held the handle on. Then used a socket and bam making burger really quick, and did not trim it as much either. It took me about 5 or 10 minutes to do the last 5 lbs verses an hour on the first 5 lbs.

Now tomorrow I will grind up some pork and mix it with about 5 lbs of the burger and some seasonings and spices and sausage.

It is my first year of making sausage.

Looks like the start of some good food!

Bought something I've long wanted. Been struggling with a drum sander mounted in big pedestal drill and having it going out of round. Got a small Bobbin sander, goes to 3'' and only has a 2/3hp motor but in couple minutes after I got it ground the fades on new riser in no time flat. Bliss!

Roy from Pa

Come on Bob, ya can't say ya got a new tool with out pictures:)

I got laid off my landscaping job today. The good news is I start seasonal unemployment on Monday until we start back up in the spring. My bow building juices have begun to flow again after a long drought so now I have more time to work on bows. I have lots of seasoned bow wood of all types and tomorrow I am mailing out a check to Keenan for one of his "Stave Master" bow benches so now I guess I will have no excuses. d;^)
