Today I cut the grass in the yard, then mowed down the corn plot, then sprayed weed killer on the corn plot. Then sprayed every weed on the property and put more wood chips around the plants in the garden. Drank about 8 beers, fed the blue gills at the pond. Came in and ate hot roast beef with hot peppers, and switched to decaf coffee:) I tired now..

That's a fun day of workplay Roy. Well done.

I was able to get one limb shaped on my Plan B swap bow. I hope tomorrow I can get the other one shaped. Then thin both limbs so it is bending tomorrow. I hope to be starting the tillering phase and I hope I don't have to heat it up any.

Today I finished fletching 8 river cane arrows. I just finished shooting them into my hay bale. Seven of'em shot okay. One just zipped off every time I shot it! They aren't a matched set, but look pretty good for my first home grown arras.  :archer2:

Didn't really make anything today, but shoot up at the 3D range early this morning and had a friend come by target 6 to see what all the noise was.

Then saw three others by the time I had finished my round.

Here is is again.

I'm bow related stuffs....built my first shootable bow using fiberglass two weeks ago.  Got it shot in and about ready for finish.  Pretty simple design, a straight bow with some reflex over the last 6 inches or so.  Pulls 37 pounds at 26 inches, 66" NTN, and just shy of 1.5" wide at the fades. I'll get some pictures up when the finish is done.
