Like Charlie posted, it takes practice to get it snugged right to your liking.  The long end of the lacing should be toward your elbow joint.  Once you do get it laced, tuck the long end of the lacing under the crossed over laces.  Start a loop about half of the length of the tag end and work it under, leaving the knot at the last lace of the cross over.  Just pull the knot when you are ready to take the guard off.

I have one similar to yours and one from Mike's Archery Leather with elastic laces - I use both of them.  The elastic laced one is the quickest to put on.

I have one from Mike's Archery Leather with the elastic cord and it works well. American Archery Leathers also sells a very nice armguard with the elastic cord.

I use those guard when wearing bulky clothing. Works fine. Took a while to get a vid on photo bucket, but got something. How do you embed that vid directly on the reply page without having to go to another site to watch it?

I'm not sure you can anymore... only way I can figure it out is to do it like I did. Copy the image link and paste it.

Got it. I pre aim as I'm bringing up the bow hand, setting my "Kentucky Elevation," so by the time I have the bow up and pointed at my target, all I have to do is finish the last 6-8" of draw and start my release as I hit my "anchor" spots. I'm essentially keeping the string anchored to my spots while I continue to pull back, by letting my fingers unroll and the string rips free. This keeps the draw length consistent, prevents "creeping," as well as increases arrow speed.

Tried one of the lace up arm guards when I first started out. It was a little bit of a hassle lacing it up,but not that bad.I tied a knot in the line where it hooked the last hook,to keep it tight. I switched to this "Grizzly/wolverine Broadheads" arm guard probably at least 15 years ago. Heavy pigskin with elastic cord and hooks.Very quick to put on and easy to adjust for heavy clothes.

Hey 3Feathers. Sent you a PM regarding your bow rack question.
