What Should I use for securing inserts into aluminum arrows.

Glue?
Epoxy?
Hot Melt?
Etc?

I've always used hot melt. It allows you to reheat and adjust the inserts if off center especially if spinning broadheads shows they are off kilter.

Rough Run

Hot melt for me.  So they can be adjusted if needed.

Hot melt. Mostly because I am a procrastinator and I can get them setup right before I head out vs waiting for the epoxy to cure.

Big Jim's hot melt works great on alum., carbon, and wood.

Interesting, I never considered hot melt.

When fletch tite turned to crap I started using super glue with good results.

I was refurbishing a big nch of Green Gamegetters from the 80's. Some of the best nests were put in with super glue. Wish I knew the brand, took me forever to get them out. My benefactor does not remember glue name, just some stuff from the drug store! It was a pain getting it off the shafts as well. He used it to fletch with.
Only downside to the old Ferrel tite hot melt. After time it becomes brittle and points stay in targets with the inserts.

Hot melt works great with aluminum arrows.

Classic use for hot melt...we never even considered anything else back in the nineties when pretty much everyone shot them

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

I use old Ferrel-tite hot melt, haven't considered anything else, it's easy to get inserts in and out.
Life is a whole lot easier when you just plow around the stump.
