It's a David Johnson longbow 66" 48@28. Brown glass on the back, cedar lams and white glass for the belly, Myrtle riser. I think there might be a very short lam in the middle of maple(?).

It's a keeper for sure.

Mudd, how do you think it shoots, what does it feel like , cedar, interesting....

Can you compare it to bamboo in a description?

Pulls soft and sweet, dead in the hand and quiet.

I'm not sure but I'll shoot both side by side and see if I can do a comparison.

I can tell you that Trinity is very light in the hand but I'll weigh both and let you know.

Yeah mudd, you should write an in depth comparison between your Hills, Sunset's, Johnson, and any other hill style bows you have.

I personally think it would be  way more fun if you guys bought one of each of your own then we could just compare notes....lol

If I had the money I would be all over that. Nevertheless I'm a teacher with two kids, a wife, and one income. Praise God I have a job that meets our needs even if I can't afford some of the toys.

Mudd

I understand totally.

I wish I could buy all the bows I want too!

I'd have one or more naturals built the old slow way.

A couple of my bows started out as pre-owned and I liked them so much that I sold them then used that money to get one built just for me.

I will say that my bow trading and buying have slowed way down. Mostly because there's just not as much money to play with but also because once I figured out which style bow could and would transport me to "Sherwood" the field to select from became a lot smaller.

I am down to owning bows that were built just for me with a couple of exceptions.

The top 4 favorites in no particular order are:

Sunset Hill...."I Am"
Osage Royale..."Eternity"
David Johnson, Dragon Killer..."Trinity"
Unknown maker... No name.. all wood(bow with riser glued on)...I think this bow is almost as old as I am but still shoots sweet.
