Sunset...any video's of you shooting, demonstrating good form, on the web? If not, I can't think of a better place to get that started!

...run in such a way so as to obtain the prize!

Nate Steen .

you shoot one bow only for 12 months and you will forever be a 'one bow' guy and you will shoot better than you ever have.  When you 'really learn' a bow and shooting it becomes second nature is when you will be an above average shot....(per Hill's instructions)

I've been debating how to get some videos on shooting, quiver use, etc, like I had on Youtube for awhile..vs. a dvd.    still thinking on it.  :)

khardrunner

did you have a youtube channel? That would probably be the easiest way to go. I would subscribe!!

Plus, you could use it to show off the new bows you build as you build them :-0

I have always felt this way...having been that "one bow guy" mostly by necessity.  It is very cool to get to the point where you can feel the magic taking hold.

one bow is certainly a good idea in more ways than one but how do you ever decide on that one bow.

Nate Steen .

that's a problem for sure John....lol lol  especially with your collection.  Keep one to shoot and 100 to look at... :)

JohnI

You know what they say Nate variety is the spice of life.

Nate Steen .

I've got three bows that are  identical in specs except for glass color...66" 64#...clear glass, white glass, white/brown.  Yet all three shoot a little differently.  I can shoot all three well but when I pick up the White Eagle (brown/white) it's like...oohh baby, we're going to have fun now!...the magic is there.  That's what comes from shooting one bow for months on end by itself.  Once you are used to it, very used to it, it's hard to shoot something else.  Kinda like your favorite shotgun,  favorite tennis raquet, favorite putter, favorite pool cue....you know the feeling... :)   :)

JohnI

That White Eagle you made for me is sure sweet, smooth as butter and shoots right where you look but I have to keep messing around with all of them. I am glad I am not that way when it comes to women, if I was I couldn't afford to buy any bows.

Nate Steen .

John,  you with bows is like me with flyrods...nuther story. Me and Tenkara is like me and longbows.

There goes swampthing posting pics of that bow again, making me want to make another impulsive bow order......

Nate you need to get a video out there of the proper techniques of the using the Hill style bow and back quiver, I need all the help I can get.

JohnI

Yea Nate you promised    .  Be sure that when you have it up to put me on the top of the list.

I've never seen a need for silencers on a Hill style bow. Like Nate I feel they are not only inappropriate, but may adversely affect the performance of the bow.
