hhhhmmmmm......1000 words?  haven't seen any photos of longbow rabbits lately....  992 words to go.... ;)

swampthing

Is that arrow "hand pinned fletched?"

swampthing

T.L.Bow, I am planning on getting back at it on my Saturday, which is Monday this week. Maybe I'll get that arrow out of the Birch tree I hit.   :p

Okie man

Nate said my Sunset Hill was shipped today so I should have it Friday or Saturday. I will post some pics hopefully with a nice whitetail propping it up off of the ground. The rut is heating up and my new bow needs to be broken in.

Nate your pics are hard to look at as your bows a just great.  Some day maybe you will open up your build list again.

Nate-

Nice one, he looks like a good size. When I grew up in LA I used to kill big swamp rabbits, they were really big and fast. In Fl. the ones that I've came across have been smaller than yours.

Small game season just opened here Nov 1, I will be chasing the rabbits and squirrels this weekened.

Nice Bunny Nate, and to repeat what Chris said "If you ever do open your build list"..........

The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

A busted bunny; good one Nate.

Uh-Oh. I seemed to have somehow marred the finish of my new Big Five. Pity, it was such a nice looking bow.

P.S. Nate appears to be getting a bit trigger happy, what with the opening of the late deer season only nine days away. Woe be to any bunny that crosses his path between now and the 10th!

Ben Maher

Rik ... mate , thats kinda unfair don't ya think ?
We need pics and story please ... or we'll just guess ...

* From a treestand on your trip ...
or
* cut your hand mounting expandable bbroadheads to your carbons ...
or
* Ripped your skin on barbed wire as you passed through the electric gates at the Game farm , running to get to your seat before the feeder went off ?
or
Bear Attack ? .. the glass delaminated off a Kodiak Special ?
or
* ???????????

Ben, you left off the most probable, his wife found out he ordered another Hill, lol.

No, No, he did like I did the other day. He went to rip a broadhead out of his quiver to shoot a turkey and snagged the arrow on a weed and the broadhead flew around and put a deep gash on his thumb. Leaving a good enough blood trail, that made a rumor go around that he must have shot the big one.

Good Hunting Nate!!   I have seen Nate hit a rabbit with his rubber blunt arrow at the Snake River Canyon, fast as a flash.....Go on Nate!!   Best Wishes!   :)

Rik

Oh Ben------you've hurt me to the bone. Tree stands? Fences and feeders? I feel faint!

Heh heh, let's just say, ground blinds and whitetails go together like longbows and arrows. The scenery from a ground blind is, to use a southern saying, "Right pretty, Y'all."

Kelly

Did you get clastrophobic(?sp) with not being able to see for miles and miles?

Told ya you'd like the sceenery and what a beautiful scene that is!
