Brian...Very nice!

Yew makes a great bow and one of the best looking woods too. Enjoy!

That's a nice looking bow, Brian.

Would anyone happen to know what the centre cut on a glassed Schulz American longbow from the mid-90s is likely to be?

My best guess would be 3/16" to 1/4" outside.  Depends on the leather thickness.  You can always take the leather off if your arrows are a touch stiff and shoot off the wood.  I have a small piece of rubber I cut from a Saunders pak tab layer as one contact point on my Sunset Hill.  I like the way it shoots where Nate Steen shoots his right of the side of the bow with no leather.  Puts me at about 3/16 outside. "Fine tuning".

So I think one of my New Year resolutions would be to perfect my Hill shooting style. Who are the best teachers out there?
