A dozen deer in thirty minutes is a small amount in this area   :(   Sad but we have a ton of road kill here a year/all year long. Abilene has a good group of trad guys and they come to San Angelo and we go there to shoot at their shoots. Like stated before Angelo has public land as well as Abilene. Texas Parks & Wildlife has some good places to hunt but you have to put up with hunters  you would not normally want to be around, but that is public land. That last statement is not aimed at the wheelie guys at all, so please do not take it that way!!!

yea, I was checking out how many vehicles were sporting grille guards. Didn't take long to figure it out HA HA.

Yep, you like your truck with the original hood and fenders, buy one  :)  but they run right smack in the side of your vehicle as well. They make up their mind and the mind tells them I gotta get to the other side of the road and it's on they are coming no matter what. Body shop's stay very busy here!!!

Great thread and great timing for me as I just moved to the Woodlands / Spring area.  What about all of the public land in NE TX?
