Pigs!  The ranch we hunt in Florida has a big population of feral pigs--not a high fence operation.  I know every year we go that we will all get into pigs and bring home some of the best wild meat I have eaten. No limit on how many you can shoot either.

I have also hunted elk, deer, bear, pronghorn, and moose.  Nothing is more fun for me than pigs.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

I've only hunted whitetails, mule deer, elk, and small game, but there are many more on my bucket list.If it's wild, and made out of meat...I'll hunt it!

My Quebec caribou hunt with the bow was by far one of the best.  Might not be as exciting as a rutting bull elk but for pure fun with a bunch of guys doing a spot a stalk it's hard to beat.

For me caribou was an addiction that lasted for years. I have chased black bear for nearly 40 years and still love shooting them.  Stalking gemsbok is WAY up there on my Africa list of favorites. It is a great animal for bowhunters. Kudu from the trees.... Oh well, I guess I can't pick one, lol.

One favorite would be tough...  Elk are a blast, especially during the rut... Like Turkey hunting big game animals!  Turkey hunting is a blast too, for the interaction/calling aspect...  Caribou for spot and stalk... along with Mulies...  Whitetails... aawwhh... just plain fun!  Pronghorn, Bears, Hogs, Javies, and then small game... squirrel, rabbit, spruce grouse, etc... Raccoon, Fox, Coyote...  Pests, Chipmunks, Moles, Ground Hogs, Prairie Dogs... Would love to go to Africa, Australia, or New Zealand...

Maybe I just like to hunt???

Without question, bears. Love the western provinces of Canada - the people, the scenery and the bears to!

Whitetails because I can be hunting after walking two minutes from my home. Travel favourite has to be antelope. I love the fact that you can see them during the day unlike many game species that stay as close to cover as they can during daylight. If I could I would be hunting pronghorns every year!!

Seems like elk, caribou, and moose seem to be the most popular, which are the ones that top my bucket list

I go on my first moose hunt this fall in Alberta. I am prepared for it too become my new favorite!  If that hunt works out then I'm going to be trying to figure out how to go on a hunt for the AK/Yukon sub.

Differences within species in different environments are almost as great as differences between species.  I suppose my favorites are bugling for elk in big timber country and whitetails on the prairie or in parkland.

I've only hunted Canada and the U.S.,
but moose/elk/caribou are all in there together.
Although my staple is researching deer and setting up in a tree, I LOVE the movement and hard hunting on the ground for the above.
Moose in northern Alberta, Caribou in Newfoundland and Elk in Colorado and Wyoming.
Best hunting memories of my life.....till I had kids! Now a rabbit for a 10 year old makes me smile ear to ear!

elk ... when a bull is pissed off and tearing up the hill side bugling and just being a brat... nothing like it.
next is w/t because you can work a plan and meany times it works out.
I get an elk on average once every 60 days of hunting.

Love hunting different states, different terrain and different species but the older I get the more I adore whitetails.

Big hard woods with rustling leaves, swampy benches down south, hemlock forests up north, river bottoms out west and backyard bucks around home.  Don't think I could ever live in an area without them.

I'd have to go with...

Whitetails
Mule Deer
Elk
Turkeys out west!
