Hi all,
I would like to build a set of arrows for a bow that was recently given to me.

I want to take advantage of its power by building a set of thin diameter shafts with an above average foc.

I would like to have a total arrow weight of more then 800 gr.

Currently this bow shoots:

7595 gt traditional only shafts, full length with a 200gr point and a 100gr insert.

These arrows aren't perfect and I wanted to start fresh with this bow and try something a little new.

Anyways,
thanks for any ideas on arrow shafts you all might have.

For slim shafts with a high FOC capacity for that draw weight  the GT Trads are the benchmark.
You can look at Carbon Techs or AD Trads, but they are larger diameter shafts.

My thought would be to cut an inch to an inch and a half off, foot with aluminum, and add another 50-100 grains of point weight.

I have played with a wide variety of carbon shafts for longbows in that weight range, and the GT's have been the consistent performers.
Less anger, more troubleshooting...

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42
