So what's the problem, Dan??  Shoot whichever you feel like on the days you feel like it.  As the old commercial goes, " sometimes you're a nut, sometimes you're not."

Are you willing to give up what you are; to become what you could be?

Dan bree

Yes moebow I'm a nut !  Don't want my other bows  getting  jealous.   Lol

Bertto what are you selling ?  Don't  get rid  of your other bows   Take them for a walk every now and then. Let them breathe  the  the  spirit  of the woods

Dan...I know what your saying. I love all my bows and enjoy shooting them. BUT...I always seem to grab and shoot my Groves Spitfire when I head out small game hunting and stump shooting.

I just love the looks and feel of this bow and I shoot it very well.

I find that when I'm shooting a longbow, I gradually develop interest in a recurve and vice versa.  The result is that I switch back and forth every couple of years.  Keeps things fresh!

Caughtandhobble

I know what you mean, I have been heavy into my longbows lately.... When I pick up my Journeyman Recurve she never lets me down. The Journeyman Recurve will likely be the last recurve I'll every have  :)

Rotation is the trick, shoot em all. You can never have too many bows!   :bigsmyl:

I really want to try a SS just couldn't find a trade Mr. Johnson wanted for my perfect one that just went in the classifieds.  Whichever of you got the 51@28 T/D needs to yell when it's time to sell!

Easykeeper

It's fun trying different bows!  I like them all, recurves and longbows.  I find I shoot recurves better though, especially the full riser stye one-piece and TDs.

Much as I love the elegant lines of a nice longbow I don't have one at the moment.  Going from my recurves to my longbows just didn't work very well for me, precision was fine but accuracy suffered.  In fact, I shoot better when I stick to one recurve, but I have several.  Selling my longbows allowed me to buy a couple pretty nice used customs off the classifieds...    :saywhat:

I'm the same I have a couple nice longbows that I shoot pretty well but I can just drill with my widow PSA  I have a hard time convincing myself to hunt with a longbow when I shoot the recurve better.  Just doesn't seem right. But I do enjoy stumping and such with the longbow

I had the pleasure of shooting a Toelke SS for half a 3-D round.  It was hard to give it back.  I'm keeping my eyes open for the right one.

I was just out shooting SS#7 earlier. It is the smoothest bow I've ever had. It's a 50@28 and scales 55@30 (SMOOTH). No stacking/can hold it all day long. I go back and forth with a bow quiver on it and am currently liking it sans bow quiver.
