I have Tomahawk Desert Fox Takedown bow. It is a fine shooter and  I am happy with the performance.
Lately the "T-Hawk" takedown system gives me problems: after about 10 shots the bottom part of the 2 piece bow moves back about 2 mm with the metal u shape bar sticking out. Wrote to 3Rivers for help; they told me to use a hammer in order to bend the T-Hawk down somewhat. Didi not work. Before I pay $$ for sending it (from Canada) to the shop, having it fixed and sent back again,  am wondering, did any of you have encountered a similar problem? Any hint how to fix it? Thank you!

I have 3 take downs from Big Jim.
No issue at all.

May be it's time to move out from that tomahawk system?
