Hello all,

I have a Whisperstik Kajikastik and wanted some help on picking out a bow quiver.  Its limbs attach to the riser like black widow bows and was also wondering if quivers like Great Northern Quickmounts would attach to it.

Thanks for your help,

Nesbo

I have 5 bow quivers; Great Northern (2), Big Jim (rubber straps), Habu, T-5 Arrow Web (Mathews for metal riser curve).  Frankly, I don't use any of them. I just don't like a quiver on my bows.

I had been attaching straps to the Mathews or the Habu and simply carrying them over my shoulder, sort of like the Asbel.  However, I discovered a tube-style quiver here from a sponsor (Safari "something").  I bought one and I love it!  It is a strap over the shoulder type. It protects my arrows very nicely and is easy to maneuver in my tree stand.

Eagles Flight Archery bow quivers are my favorite, but the Kanati bow quivers are very nice too. You certainly couldn't go wrong with either. They each have a strap-on mounting system that would definitely work well, and they also each have a limb bolt mounting system that may or may not work on your belly mount bow. If you have other bows without limb bolts that you may want to use the quiver on, get the strap-on version. Rod Jenkins' Safari Tuff Arrowmaster is a great side quiver, but that's not what you were asking about. I still prefer bow quivers for hunting, because everything you need is right there in your hands.

I really like my Kanati Dual Arc with pro hood.  It's adjustable which really helps to tweak the balance of the bow and helps you place the feathers right where you want them in the quiver.  My bow actually shoots better with the quiver on than with it not mounted.  Now, my bow is more quiet, slightly more stable due to weight, and it now rolls into my hand after being shot instead of vibrating in my hand requiring me to grab it after the shot.  Before trying this quiver I was a back quiver guy but I'll probably never go back to a back quiver for hunting.

I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.- John Wayne

I have four of the GN strap on quivers. I've used them for over ten years on all kinds of recurves and longbows. They have worked well and replacement parts are available to purchase although I haven't had to replace any parts on my quivers.I haven't tried other brands or mounting styles.

Bill Dunn at Zipper makes killer strap on and bolt on models. They are tops for wooden quivers for sure.

and they can be made to match your bow!!

If you are a two blade user, than you need to wait a couple of weeks to see the new EFA quiver that Don Ward is introducing.  I had an opportunity to see it this weekend ad iris real real nice.
