Don't know if this has been discussed here before but what are the pro's and con's of the static tip limb design versus a standard tip recurve limb? I've owned and shot static tip RER's, Kwyk Styk's and even a few Bear Takedown's with limbs that are close to static. Love the way they shoot and feel during the draw cycle. What are the benefits of this design as far as performance is concerned  :dunno:

I don't know about the performance aspect, but mine is quieter than any working limb recurve I have shot.

Shorter working limb, good early weight, and more energy storage.

There was a good thread not that long ago you should read.
