From what I've been reading, alot of guys are having a pretty
good year. I too have been similarly blessed. Shot my first trad big game animal in October. A 300lb black bear. Used my 50lb
Bear Griz , cedar arrow, and 125 grn Magnus Snuffer, from a 20ft high ladder stand. In November , got my first trad whitetail.
A pretty little 5x5 with two matching stickers, from the ground. Also from a ground blind, a young doe. Both with the same 50lb Griz and two blade Magnus 125 grainers on carbon arrows. I also manage eight ruffed grouse with many misses but alot of laughs. First year since 1976 I have yet to shoot a rifle or my brand new, still in the box , Bowtech wheelie.
I think I am forever changed and officially trad addicted.
