That is one good looking bow!

I have an order in with Maddog Archery, looking for it around April. Can't wait and I hope it looks as good as your bow!
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥

AWPForester

I am still waiting on mine, but I shot a buddies the other day and WOW!  His craftmanship is second to none as you can tell and man was it quiet and fast.  The bow was 51# @26, and was flinging a 520 grain arrow like a missle.  It was undoubtablly the fastest and quietest bow I have ever shot or seen.  He does make a smoking bow.
Psalm 25:3 Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: Let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

AWPForester, was that a longbow, recurve, or mutt you were shooting?

Wannabe1

Thom, it doesn't matter if it's 001 or 100, I'm still gonna drag it through the woods!   :D  Especially if I elk hunt here on the west coast as brush in the coastal range is to thick for my longbows.

Verrry nice!
The two of you will be making some beautiful music together come fall.   :thumbsup:
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

I've been up in the Oregon coastals a few times and it's mighty fine elk country (albeit sometimes a little too thick for my liking.) I've got little doubt the bow will show some well earned wear if you take it out into that kind of brush!

I hope you get some nice rosie tenderloins for your effort!
All the best,
Thom
