Recently I acquired a really nice bow from a friend. It is a one piece longbow that is 58" in length and 57# at 28". It has written on it, "A#H ACS Custom built by Morrison Archery.

I just wondered how many of them were made, and what kind of reputation they have? It's more poundage than I want to pull now but the few shots that I did take indicated the bow was shooting pretty quick. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Steelhead

I had a 64 incher.They were not made for a very long time.Not sure how long.

They had a calaberation for a short spell.Then went thier seperate ways.

Killdeer

I bought this one from Bob at Baltimore. It was his personal bow and has no serial number.
51#@26". The riser is Macassar ebony, the pic doesn't show the grain at all.

Bow is quiet, the arrows fly like fury.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;

Kildeer, that's one of my favorite all time photos. That's a lot of poundage. Do you shoot it much?

Lost Arra, that's close to the bow that I have. I'll bet that it is a screamer.

Well, that's three we have accounted for. I wonder how many more are out there?
