What's the difference between the Mustang and the Cougar? They look very much the same. Do they shoot and feel the same?

Thanks

You could post  his question on the Trad history-collecting forum and you'll probably get a faster answer.

From what I know: the cougar was the lower priced bow in the lineup. Cougars seemed to come in 60-64" lengths. Mustangs might have been shorter and used more exotic woods...I'm not sure.

I have a Cougar. It's a good workhorse recurve. No frills, simple, and well made. I like them.

I remember seeing these two bows in the Sears catalog when I was a teen. I wanted one of them so bad.

Sorry I don't remember the difference to help you. Seems like the Mustang was longer.

Thanks guys. This helps a bit.

Mustang was the more expensive bow, 64" and some better woods, better shooter. Got that from the collectors forum thanks guys.
