Well fellas I don't think you guys might remember me asking and polling On bow weight for elk... Well, after all the info given to me I finally ordered a longbow with your help back then. It's 58@28 ( 55@27) my draw. Tulipwood and ebony. With osage high lights. The pics are from my phone and don't really do the bow justice. The Dwyers are true craftsmen. and great guys.

Awesome bow.  Got a question on the limb tips.  Is the bottom tip as "pointy" as the top?  How do those tips hold up during every day hunting use.  I really like the looks of those bows, but always wondered about the tips.  Thanks...Mike

She"s a 62 inch Dauntless. Shots as fast as any recurve I've owned with 12 grains per #... Including  all the BW's, Robertsons, Morrison's,RER, Ect, Ect, Ect.... I've had.
But she's giving me fitts  learning to shot??? I usually shot a "D" shaped longbow.. This one is hightly r/d... seems to be unforgiving on a bad release... But that's my fault ain't it??? When I release properly it really drills an arrow... Right where I'm looking.
Anyone else ever had problems shooting High r/d bows????
Well,Back to the bow... the attention to to detail on this thing is SUPER!!! I went over it with a bright light and took my time... Can't find a tool mark anywhere. The finish on it is perfect with no bubbles or thin spots I could see??? The riser and tip overlays are blends in perfectly.   :clapper:
