Leather is belly material from tandy here in amarillo(29.00) 1/8th"lace is latigo from tandy (2.99) Fleece hood from walmart scrap bin (4.20) thread is serving material I had in my desk. Elastic is 1" strap for walmart (1.49) needles from walmart(.97) I did not have any.1/8" leather punch from tandy ( 4.99).
I cut my leather 11"x23" with a strap 1"x 60".I found the belly in a pile of about 7 or so. all about the  same price and thickness my guess is 10/12oz. I cut the strap first down the long side of the belly then laided out the body of the quiver. I did not really draw anything, just went from memory from website pictures. Total build time was 2.5 hours. For the fleece hood I went 13"x7" and kind of folded the material on the back edge. Again I used the serving material to sew it up. I have enough leather left over the build another one just like it or several arm guards. I have enough fleece to build a takedown case of my 3pc longbow, which is what I going to do. If you have any question please ask.  thanks

Whats wrong with that? Good job, looks just like the ones in the catalogs, only this has your own good vibes!!!! Well done.

thanks guys. feels good to put your time in on it. I have found the fleece too tight for 1 dz arrows so I think I will build on a tad bigger. Sometimes I like to me fully loaded! but if you wanted to carry 6 arrows the dimensions given will work very well.

thanks again

Simple but effective. Very nice. A piece of dense foam, cut to shape in the bottom works well to hold broadheads and protect their edges.  Pat

Discarded packaging, like computer, TV, makes good source of foam

Nice idea. I will have to try it for myself.

FYI - Selway foam inserts are around $6.

My old comp. box foam is very brittle and loud. I had a pm from a nice guy that said yoga mats!

I replaced the fleece hood and now holds a dozen. as an added bonus I cut 1.5' of the fleece and sewed it in the old hood and now my 4 year old girl has a camo purse! her mom loves it. ( we have 3 boys and 1 girl, my wife was hoping she would be more girly I guess.)
